Wouldn’t recommend or stay again

Location ideal

The pictures displayed are good, which is what made me book, however... Upon arriving there was no key in the box as advised, we had to wait for the host to contact their other flat to give us keys for the main door. A lot of mould in the bathroom and bedrooms. A hole in one of the bedroom walls. Bathroom radiator filthy and hanging off the wall. Must be an issue with the freezer as by morning the ice was no longer ice. Shower was freezing cold and had to make a few phone calls to eventually get it working. Stains on the sofa and carpets in living room areas. Meant to be Wi-Fi but weren’t given the WiFi details or password, it was left blank on the arrival instructions. Pillows were good but mattresses were uncomfortable, springy and not of decent quality. Didn’t use the microwave, hob or oven so can’t comment on that. What should have been a straight forward stay, wasn’t. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but going forward I’ll only be booking hotels as this wasn’t a good first private rental booking for me personally.

Lovely host, comfortable property and excellent value for money.

Basic but lovely property with everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds and plenty of them. Our hosts were lovely and super attentive and on hand to help whenever we needed.

The shower could’ve been a little cleaner and we had a bit of trouble with the digital lock on the first entrance door to the property. However these are minor issues that didn’t impact our stay.

Dirty and worn down

When there was no hot water the owner was fast to sort it. This was the only thing that positive.

The apartment was filthy. As soon as we entered it had a smell. Carpets were worn, torn and dirty. The fridge hadn't been cleaned and everything felt grotty.there was mould everywhere in the bathroom- on the ceiling, in the shower. The shower itself had scum around the edges. Holes in the wall in the bedrooms where the doors have been bashing when opening. There was no hot water (this was rectified quickly). The state of the apartment definitely put a dampener on our stay. We paid a significant amount of money for 2 nights and it was hugely disappointing. This place needs completely upgraded and the photos and other reviews are very misleading.

Do not book this flat, it’s ridiculously priced for what it is and the photos are extremely misleading.

Beds were fairly comfortable. That’s about it.

The flat was shocking. It’s not a very secure building so we didn’t feel safe. It was supposed to have two locks and key boxes but the one on the outside was missing so the flat was accessible with just one flimsy Yale lock and thin front door on a busy road in a rough area. Inside the flat had lots of flies, was badly decorated, frayed carpets, over long curtains and a tatty bathroom that hadn’t been cleaned properly. There were 3 of us staying but we were only given 1 bath towel and 2 hand towels so I contacted the owner for more towels. She took ages so my daughter and her partner brought their own. When we showered the shower cubicle door wouldn’t shut properly and the water only stayed hot you couldn’t make it go colder. This on a hot day! We found the flat to be so unpleasant that we checked out early at 5pm a day before we were due to leave. We couldn’t bear the thought if staying another night in such a dismal flat in hot weather with only hot showers. When I raised concerns with the owner, rather than offer any money back, they offered a discount on the next visit! There will not be another visit!!!

It's our home away from home. 😅

The place was clean and tidy; it's like our home with all the things you need, like cooking, a washing machine, a fridge, a TV, and even Wi-Fi. And what's good is the location, going to Trafford Centre is just close by.

Nothing much. The place is brilliant. If I ever don't like it, it's maybe the sounds of vehicles passing by. 😁 but it is what it is.

The accommodation is spacious and provides good value for the money. It is equipped with kitchen appliances, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. The establishment is conveniently located near various shops and several pubs. Furthermore, the staff exhibited a high level of politeness and professionalism.

Very warm, could do with some fans but we didn't really stay in the apartment through out the day so it wasn't that bad

Great stay!

It had everything we needed and the added extras were a lovely touch - like the bottles of water and coffee pods. Also had washing up stuff for us to use. It had great furniture and location was perfect for us. The hosts were always available to us to contact if we needed anything ☺️ Great value for money!

Just a tip to the hosts - the carpet needs a deep clean and there needs to be mattress/quilt/pillow protectors on beds 😄

Compact, modern, clean and functional

The flat is compact, modern and clean. It has all that you need for a short stay - we were using it just as a base whilst visiting family and it served its purpose well. There was tea/coffee, biscuits & water in the kitchen which was a welcome touch, along with a few cooking basics which would have been handy had we been cooking. There were toiletries in the bathroom, clean towels and a hairdryer. The beds were not of the highest quality, but as there were only 3 of us staying we had a double bed each which was nice and the bedding was obviously clean and new. We didn't have much disturbance from the main road outside, nor from the adjacent flat or upstairs. The TV was setup with a range of digital channels and streaming services, which made the kids happy! The communication with the property from check in to check out was great.

I would have felt more secure with an extra bolt on the inside front door, as it shared an external front door directly (onto the main road) with flat 2 - there was a bolt on the door but no connecting fixture on the door frame for it to work. Also, it wasn't highlighted that there wasn't any parking so we had to park a short distance away.

Cozy flat for travellers

Quite cozy and nice. Deco was very nice, and dining table ready for the guests. TV is new, and wifi fast. Some little improvements could be possible, and shower need some check, but I would recommend the place. Contact wirh the owner is fast and without any problems.
