The property is has described, very close to the beach and stunning view. Good size for a a family of 5. There is lots of games for kids which is great. The host are leaving next door and make you feel so welcome and looked after when you need anything.

Cosy home in the middle of the nature

So clean and comfortable. The view is great and the place is quiet. The hosts are very friendly and ready to help. We actually saw a stag on the road on the way to the house, which was a unique and one of a kind experience for us. We totally recomend The Hirsel on Skye 😊

Beautiful surroundings and view of Skye in a great location. All the accommodations were top notch and Emma the host was so incredibly kind. She had prepared multiple items like a highchair, tummy-time mat, and an infant bath that made our stay so easy. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and preparing meals. I’d highly recommend staying here!

An awesome place !

Your cottage at *The Hirsel of Skye* is absolutely stunning! The spectacular views of the lake are breathtaking, and the superb furnishings make it feel like a luxury retreat. 6 stars out of 5! We loved every moment spent here, from relaxing in the tastefully furnished interiors to stepping outside into the serene natural surroundings where you can spot visiting sheep at close proximity. The attention to detail inside the cottage is extremely cozy reflecting Scottish hospitality at the highest order. It's been the perfect base for our stay. Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven with us – we'll cherish the memories forever! The location is idyllic, and we feel so lucky to have experienced it. Not to mention the extremely hospitable hosts, Dave & Emma.

Found the road to the property a bit uncomfortable to navigate - probably because we are not used to single lane roads.

Lovely place

The homeowners Rob and Eileen are very kind, friendly and helpful hosts. They live nextdoor but give you privacy. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms made the stay convenient even for 5 people. The kitchen is very well equipped, so we could prepare breakfast and dinner. We used the cottage as a base for our trips around Skye.

British double bed standards don't meet tall European guy's needs and comfort requirements :). But this is a thing we always struggle when visiting the UK.

Padroni di casa gentilissimi e simpatici. Abbiamo ricevuto una bella accoglienza e ottimi consigli per il nostro soggiorno sull'isola. Vicinissimo ad una spiaggetta (Ord) molto carina. Cottage delizioso con ogni comfort. Consigliato!

Semplicemente fantastico!

La struttura è la casa dei sogni di qualsiasi persona che stia cercando tranquillità e pace. Si affaccia sul mare e il silenzio che regala è qualcosa di raro. Il cottage è ben organizzato, molto ampio e molto pulito, i padroni di casa Rob ed Eileen ci tengono molto e si vede che lo curano nel migliore dei modi. Trovandosi vicino all’isola di Skye è vicino un po’ a tutto, in massimo 1h e 30’ di macchina si arriva dal sud al nord dell’isola, quindi come posizione rimane pur sempre strategica. Vista oceano dalla finestra molto bella, con possibilità di fare il bagno per i più coraggiosi con una spiaggetta a 2’ di camminata.

Al momento del mio soggiorno nulla, se vogliamo andare nel dettaglio, c’è stata un po’ di difficoltà con l’erogazione dell’acqua calda ma può capitare trattandosi di zone un po’ dislocate.
