Wir haben im Castletown Carlow übernachtet, weil wir ein Konzert der Boomtown Rats in Kilkenny besucht haben. Die Unterkunft war für uns perfekt, da wir nachts nicht mehr durch halb Kilkenny fahren mussten. Zudem liegt sie gut, da wir am nächsten Tag nach Dublin weitergefahren sind. Der Self Check In lief problemlos, eine Frage wurde mir prompt beantwortet. Das Zimmer ist nicht modern, aber mot allem Notwendigen ausgerüstet. Es gibt zwei Zimmer, allerdings offen zueinander ohne Tür. In dem einen sind ein Doppelbett und eine Couch, in anderen 2 Einzelbetten, also 4 Personen möglich. Es gibt noch mehrere Sitzgelegenheiten. Die Fenster lassen sich verdunkelt. Die Terasse haben wir jahreszeitlich bedingt nicht genutzt. Im Bad ist eine Dusche, Toilettenartikel werden ebenso wie Handtücher zur Verfügung gestellt. Einen Föhn gibt es auch. Lorraine, die Vermieterin, ist super nett. Das Zimmer wird ohne Frühstück vermietet, allerdings kann man sich Kaffee oder Tee machen und es gab Kekse. Da wir zusätzlich noch Waffeln aus dem Supermarkt hatten, reichte uns das als Frühstück.

We were a group of 5, myself and my daughter, my friend and her 2 daughters.
Communication prior to our stay was excellent, questions answered quickly and we had all the info needed for a quick and easy check in. The accommodation was really lovely, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The host went over and above in her welcome by leaving a special card and treats for my daughter for her birthday. Beautiful outdoor area we never had the chance to use. Lots of positive communication regarding check out too. Highly recommend.
