This stay was amazing! The owner checked us in and was very helpful in showing us our apartment, helping us carry luggage and the extras of having printed information for nearby villages, etc. The property was so relaxing and thoroughly enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. If I return to Ireland, this will absolutely be on my list of stops!!

This was a renovated castle. It was close to restaurants, within 10 minutes, very clean. There is no office to check in but the owner has camera to know when you arrive and meets you. Would recommend to anyone looking for something different!

I absolutely loved staying at Wilton Castle. The property is so interesting and the upgrades made to the rooms in the manor house are just top-notch. Sean could not have been nicer and more accommodating at check-in. The history of the house is so interesting and it’s surrounded by beautiful green pastures and solitude. If I hadn’t already made reservations at other places, I would have stayed here multiple nights. We stayed in the one bedroom accommodation, but were able to look at the three bedroom suite before we left. It is just gorgeous! They did not miss one single detail.

Straight out of a period novel or royal drama. You can live out your downton abbey/jane austen/bridgerton dreams. Enniscorthy apartment was extremely pretty and spacious. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen with huge table, 1 living room. TV with nextflix. Great views. Host was so welcoming! Best deal in Ireland!

This property is unbelievable! To stay in a castle is a fairytale and it didn’t disappoint. The location is quiet and tranquil, with lovely green pastures and a river running through the back grounds. Our suite was complete with a full kitchen, living space, and three bedrooms. My family unanimously voted this as our favorite stay during our week in Ireland! The property was clean, welcoming, and comfortable.

Was absolutely stunned at the overall size of the room. The greeting was absolutely amazing with old world charm. While we only stayed the night, we enjoyed tge property and surrounding area immensely. Visiti g from Canada, we didn't know what to anticipate in Ireland but not one aspect of our trip was sub par or exaggerated. I would recommend this place for a magical stay and beautifully appointed room and surrounding.

A great getaway for couples or families. Lovely grounds for walking outside, fabulous apartments, wonderfully decorated,clean,comfortable. Great that it is self catering, so breakfast lunch and dinner were on our own schedule. Host was very helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be recommending to family and friends and will definitely be going back.

Had a lovely one night stay at Wilton Castle. The suite was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The owner greeted me upon arrival and offered to help with my bags. He showed me to my room and helped get a fire started. I was looking for place to relax and disconnect and this place was perfect! I would definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area.

Gorgeous place ! We had the Butler Suite. Super comfortable and great views from the room. Peaceful! Only negative was the shower area, you could find some mold issues around the tiles. Something that can be easily treated. The place is magical

The Wilton Castle was fabulous! Very unique! Excellent place to stay! Beautiful, large and clean rooms! Loved soaking in the bath! (We booked the Furlong room.) So relaxing! Wished we stayed longer! Close drive to Enniscorthy for delicious dinner at Baileys. Your stay at Wilton Castle will not disappoint! Enjoyed every minute!

Despite never staying in a castle before I was impressed by the quality and space afforded at Wilton Castle. I have in some years stayed as many as 266/365 nights away from home so very critical but Wilton gets 10/10. The work done to restore the present lettablevareas shows real dedication to both maintaining the character while offering modern conveniences. Despite arriving early we were made very welcome, given instructions and settled into our castle. Kitchen was very well appointed as was the bathroom. Heating was excellent as we had control over timings. The bedroom was large with a very comfortable mattress and thick curtains. We enjoyed the opportunity to ramble around the ruins but weather stopped us visiting the extensive grounds. Well done David ,family and staff

This place has all the comforts of home while being an exceptionally beautiful space and relaxing area the only mistake there was with it was made by me by not buying grocery before we got there. There is a full kitchen refrigerator microwave oven stove anything you could need or want if you did your shopping beforehand you'd really have no need to leave. David, the owner, had exceptional eye for detail when taking this property from runes back to a beautiful castle. Do yourself a favor if you can book for more than one night.

Wilton Castle is awesome. Highly recommend it for couples, groups or large families that want to stay somewhere unique. The mansion is upscale, private and out in the countryside with nice views. There are adjacent castle ruins to walk thru.

We absolutely loved the Wilton Castle. We stayed in the Butler's Suite and it was gorgeous and comfortable and spacious and had everything you could want or need! The property is beautiful. And the cows walking past every morning and evening was a cherry on the sundae! We only wished we planned to stay for a week! We did stay 2 nights and made day trips out each day. The Italian restaurant in Ennoscarthy was delicious BUT the guy loves Musselini which was very weird and frightening. Wilton Castle, though, is a must!!!

Very private. Nobody but guests stay in the castle so no staff there at night. It was a good stay. Great grounds to walk around no real garden beauty to look at. Read up on the history and enjoy. The thorn hill suite is huge and very very nice!

The scenery is spectacular . We got the Thornhill suite which is absolutely breathtaking. There is an option to walk outside along the river stream. The peacefulness in this whole area is like no other. The scenery straight out of a movie scene. Already planning my trip back to Wilton Castle. I do have to say that there is no restaurant in the castle so therefore, you either have to order food, which was fairly easy to do on just eat.ir which gives you many options to choose from from nearby towns. Or you can drive to the nearby towns which are 5-7 minutes away. This was definitely not a dealbreaker for me since the area is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff is very kind and stays out of your way. Also, we had a full kitchen in our suite so this was great.
