Fred was a great host. Property was lived in but comfortable. The location was fantastic and was used as a jumping off point for many day trips to Kilkenny and Waterford. The pub, Malzard's, was next door and was great for a pint or three after a long day.
If you're staying through on a weekend, the crowd from the pub can be loud especially in the summer when the windows are open. Not a problem, if you're prepared for it. Also, it could have used a few more seats considering the number of beds.

My family and I stayed here for three nights as my brother was getting married in Mountain View. It was the perfect location, and Fred couldn't have been more helpful. He was the perfect host.
The house is also beside the most amazing pub. Which was ideal for us for Day 2 of the wedding 😅 Location, 10 minutes from moutain view and 20 minutes from Kilkenny.
Nothing major, but black out blinds would be amazing. Though nothing my eye mask couldn't fix.

This property was self catering but had all the facilities you would need but we used a cafe across the way and had food there.

Very spacious house for 5 of us
There is a little travel involved to Kilkenny but once you are ok with that, it is grand
$$$$
