Good security - two/three door locks to enter - building (open during daytime), corridor and then apartment lock. Good feeling location, friendly people, no-one acting strangely or offensively. Great size apartment - with bonus garden if you've got time to enjoy it. Best ever, spacious bathroom ! Great communication with host. Good local shops for food. Good shopping, a pedestrianised shopping and restaurant area. Very close to the railway station for trains to Cinque-Terre towns.
Disappointing and surprising lack of "nightlife". Very, very many people around on Saturday night but just walking and meeting up and talking. No venues or clubs that I could find in locality. A couple locations mentioned in Blogs don't exist any more.
