Convenient for Murrayfield
Arrived in the dark so difficult to see which property it was and lots of key safes on the wall. On contacting the host though, they happily directed us through
Apartment was not cleaned nor bed made up on arrival which was not ideal. NOT a fault of the owner though, the cleaning company had missed us. They came and made up our bed and the next day came and cleaned and left us a gift by way of apology

Not quite a penthouse
The views are really good. Can see the castle amd Arthur's seat. The bed was really comfy.
I wouldn't say it was a penthouse, more a top floor flat. A bit far out from the city (45min walk) and not in a very nice area. The room was not clean when we got there with wet towels lying over the bed and the bed not made. Food remnants lying around. Once cleaned it was slightly better and the owner explained cleaners hadnt been able to get in earlier due to being busy with the marathon being on and the city being busy. There was no hand wash in the dispenser and in its place some washing up liquid. The balcony could do with a spruce up. It could be quite nice if just given a bit tlc. It served its purpose for 1 night.
