Footdee Cottage

The house was a really good size for a large family, there was plenty of bedrooms and beds to accommodate large families. The two living spaces were fab as one had a TV and one was quiet so you could relax without worrying about the kids. The AGA was great for cooking for our family and friends and heated the full of downstairs and you didn’t need to worry about hot water but it was exceptionally warm when we stayed and we had to open the windows to allow fresh air to circulate (we did not expect so much sunshine!). The stair gates were an added bonus and so practical especially with the upper two bedrooms as the stairs were pretty steep.

There was nothing we did not like about the property, Footdee is exceptionally beautiful and we really enjoyed taking late night walks around Footdee. The history of Footdee is wonderful and if you enjoy history then I would highly recommend visiting Footdee. I would not recommend exploring the surrounding industrial estate or harbour at night due to nighttime activities but this does not effect the property if you stay within Footdee.

It was cute and had great facilities especially the Wii !
