Granton Place

Location was excellent and very handy for where we needed to be. Area very quiet and np noise at night time.. The flat was well equipped and it was good to have access to laundry facilities.

On arrival, we found one of the blinds down on one of the bedroom windows. Someone did come out to fix this, however even with the blind in place, it was not long enough to fully cover the window and block out the light . The repair person had balanced 3 pillows along the edge of the window to block out the light. Which meant we couldn't use the extra pillows at night. Heating is also an issue as cannot be controlled by those staying in the flat. The heating seemed to come on at 5am when we were all asleep, and also at 3pm, when we were out the flat. It felt cold at night when we were watching TV. No door stops meant the doors were heavy to open and shut, especially with little ones in the flat. One toilet roll for 3 nights between 6 people is not enough.

From the start to finish, this rental was five stars. Great communication and information from the owner, the apartment was clean and beautiful, and there were even Nespresso pods and treats for us. It was a great experience for our few days in Aberdeen. Thanks !

Quiet place with good beds, warm bathroom, big refrigerator and practical layout of kitchen / living room space.

The host asked me on the chat of this platform to give him detailed feedback about all criticism and possible improvements in case I do not evaluate him with 10 points. So here is my answer: The phone number was useless, because no one answered when I called. Supposedly there is a WhatsApp account with it, which has been accessed 3 weeks before my arrival. I sent photos because I had issues, I pointed this out in the chat of the platform, but I received no answer on this. We had booked the place for Christmas. Upon our arrival, the apartment had 15 degrees C. The heating system was “secured“ in a way that it was not possible for us to heat all rooms at the same time. Since the host only answered my other questions very slowly and no one took the phone, I bought forks by myself (there were only 2 in an apartment advertised for 6 people), and I bought wine glasses, because there were only 3. Most other glasses were dented and of 3 different designs. Before and during my stay I received many pre-figured messages, including a sudden change in the door code, while my messages were not always read. One agent had permitted me to check out at 11 (since on the day of our departure, the place was not booked), while another reminded me - with certain procedural warnings - to leave by 10. I would not book here again.

Nicely renovated apartment within walking distance of central Aberdeen.

Nicely renovated top floor apartment in central Aberdeen. Quiet area, good heating, nice kitchen and bathroom. Two of the three beds were very comfortable (the third bed had a metal frame that needed replacing). Free parking in the street overnight, but paid during the day.

Some items of furniture needed maintenance - one of the beds (a metal one) was so creaky we had to put the mattress on the floor to get to sleep. Odd industrial door hinges that meant doors were very heavy and hard for children to open and there was very little airflow in the bedrooms.

Modern, Fresh & Stylish Perfect For Me

Everything was spotlessly clean, modern, fresh, warm and welcoming. We liked the smart TV, bathroom and location. The free bottle of wine was a nice touch too. Thank You.

Sehr angenehm

Die Unterkunft war sehr groß, mit 3 großen Schlafzimmern. Das Bad war sehr modern. Was uns außerdem sehr zugesagt hat, ist das die Türen des Gebäudes und die Türe der Wohnung per Code geöffnet werden. Dies hat außerdem das check-in sehr leicht gemacht.

Was etwas schade war, dass die Teller fast alle stark Macken hatten. An den Esszimmer Stühlen waren die Füße locker.
