Good location, nice big room with 2 showers and washing machine

No room numbers on doors makes after hours check in a bit unsure

The location was central and convenient. Loved the washing machine!!

There weren't really any "comfy" chairs to sit on!!

This is a great property in a great location

- Honmachi is a great location - now my favourite area in Osaka since it's 10 minutes walk to Shinsaibashi / Dotonbori, Americamura, and maybe 25 mins to Namba. I barely had to use the metro system while I was there. - Extremely close to Yamato Transport (Kuroneko) so they can accept / receive your luggage on a weekday. - Elevator!! Nothing worse than a 4 storey walkup with two suitcases. - Area is full of artisan and craft stores like bead shops and fabric stores. - Kitchen was stocked with oil, pepper, salt. Fridge is sufficiently cold to keep food fresh. - Door code is really nifty so room inhabitants can come and go without needing to share one key. - Large shower, washing machine comes with detergent pods. There's a clothes airer as well, with coat hangers and a fan if you need to dry clothes a bit faster. - Pretty spacious and good use of space, fine for three people for a few days, might be too cosy for four adults. - Separate toilet and shower. - Two in room air conditioners keep the room cool. - Even though we were above a cafe, it was only open during the day. The area is quiet and safe at night time.

- No private entrance to the room, you need to walk through the restaurant on ground floor to get to the elevator. Gives a poor sense of privacy during the day. - The emergency exit light in the room is ridiculously bright, and we all slept poorly as a result. This could be easily fixed by a curtain. - Only provide one blanket per bed - it's a double blanket on a double mattress and it's barely enough to cover two adults sharing. I contacted staff for a second blanket but they refused. If they don't want to change this policy, this could be upgraded to a queen sized blanket. - Shampoo and conditioner were provided but the shampoo is a bit drying and the conditioner is a bit too watery. Buy your own packets / trial kits if you have long hair / particular hair needs. - Hair dryer is weak and somewhat broken (does not stay unfolded). - Small towels (not a bath sheet) - No sheer curtains on the windows - you can see into neighbouring buildings in the day time.
