Glentress Forest Cabins - Forest Holidays

We loved our tree house and hot tub. It was spacious and clean. The views when driving to and from the forest were breathtaking.

We asked for a bath mat as I have mobility issues so can slip easily, but despite asking twice we didn’t get one. We also asked twice for an iron and ironing board and again we did not get one. The tongs for the fire were broken so we had difficulty using it but it was just left broken for us to use. The light in the hot tub didn’t work either which our children were disappointed with. For the money we paid for our stay we were hoping for the basics to be addressed. The restaurant also needs a lot more staff as service was incredibly slow and lacks in some areas. The hot chocolate was awful and tasted like water, the coffee wasn’t good either. And it took a very long time for anything to come.

Loved everything, so cosy. Clean, beautifully decorated. Location fantastic. Lots to do with kids. Pet friendly

Large, spacious, well kitted out and cosy

Nothing

Hot tub. Spacious. Clean.

Not the cabin we reserved. Apparently booking.com does not work well with their system so our booking was not there. Staff not mindful of those not paying for facilities and having to wait a long time. Staff did not seem knowledgeable about certain activities. Parking was not sorted and had to pay to exit. No refund was offered. Welcome from staff was not as advertised. Booking.com unable to address issues.
