Fabulous house. Perfect for quiet and a lovely weekend. Nature walks, garden, 300 year old walled garden. A+

Old fashioned ethics,charm,politeness and manners .Linen tablecloths and napkins , fresh flowers , personal notes. Soft and silky cotton sheets . Restaurant staff were respectful and polite.
À la carte menu seemed expensive when I asked for a sample and not a great choice for someone who doesn’t eat a lot of meat . Decided not to eat there in the evening but breakfast was exceptional so don’t be put off!

Amazing surroundings, very kind and helpful staff and comfy beds.
It’s pretty tired - it does need a refurb and feels like it’s expensive for the experience.
