I liked the character and quaintness of the house. It felt cosy, and I particularly appreciated that it was only a stone’s throw from the town centre. The owner was also particularly hospitable and kind.
Parking was the main issue. The owner kindly arranged a parking permit for my car, but available spaces were still very limited.

Spotlessly clean, comfy beds, excellent showers, plenty of storage space, nice breakfast room. Good washing machine and dryer. Excellent wifi. Close to town. Parking permits included. Host very responsive.
Noise from trains and some road noise. Parking was a bit tricky - spaces were nearby, but not always available (especially on Sunday when no restrictions) and were very tight (fortunately we took a small car) - alternative parking in zone B was quite a way away. Labels on cooker had worn off - host pointed this out, but it did make judging oven temperature a bit tricky.
