Budget Accommodation Central Guildford 1 BR Top of Friary

Excellent location in centre of Guildford just a few mins from station. Collecting keys worked fine with full instructions sent through via whatsapp. Apartment was nice with comfortable bed and nice bedroom / living room area. Shower and bathroom were fine and although I didn't use the kitchen it looked functional and having it is useful

A few minor quibbles. The main bathroom light did not work meaning I had to use the shaving mirror, although this gave enough light for my needs. The TV did not have any channels programmed. I tried to do a scan but it didn't work so effectively no working TV in the room. People will want a working TV if staying for any length of time

How central it was to the shops and the train station. Lots of places to go for a meal. Also not too far away from the church. Lots of public transport also.

We couldn't find the accommodation at first. I think they should put a sign more so near the street area for people to find it as the sign is in around the corner where you enter through the door. But other than that it's very central and good value for money.

It's a great location, right in the centre of Guildford. I had a case in the County Court on the Monday, so I just needed it for Sunday night, and it was only a few hundred yards from the court. The host was very helpful in helping to locate the flat and gain entry. I suspect it's an ex-council flat, but although a bit run down in places it's perfectly OK. It also has access to a communal roof terrace, which is a nice feature. It was also pretty well-equipped (but a black mark for no ice in the icebox!) and I enjoyed my stay.

There were no consumables, such as tea, salt, pepper etc. Although this isn't uncommon it's a nuisance, as nobody staying for a couple of nights wants to buy a whole container of stuff like this, and as they have a very long shelf life a good host should always ensure they're available.

La vicinanza dal centro, dai ristoranti, pub e dalle fermate metro. Inoltre, si trova affianco al centro commerciale con tantissimi servizi a portata di mano. Fondamentale è stata la gentilezza e la disponibilità del proprietario della casa. Ci ha portati degli asciugamani e dei cuscini nuovi. Se fosse solo per lui darei 10 stelle.

La struttura non è malvagia ma bisognerebbe renderla più accogliente. Bisognerebbe pulire più affondo e togliere gli odori sgradevoli. Anche il corridoio e l’ascensore puzzano fortemente
