Terrazzi su Piazza San Marco

Location was 10/10

The location was really good once you were able to locate the property. A written map may be necessary for this location

51 stairs with luggage was a bit much! Difficult to find initially would highly recommend a written map. Even the locals couldn’t make sense of the address.

Located was brilliant.

The accommodation was generally fine for our stay in Venice, but there were a few issues that could definitely be improved. The main problem was the showers. The water pressure was very low, and the hot water was quite unreliable. Sometimes it took a long time for the shower to warm up, while on other occasions it wouldn’t get warm at all. The showers themselves could also do with a bit of a spruce up, as they looked quite dirty around the bottom and could have been cleaner. There was also a broken latch on one of the bedroom windows, which meant the window wouldn’t stay properly closed. This made the room very noisy, particularly at night, and made it difficult to sleep. We also paid the city tax in cash but didn’t receive the change we were due. Some of the instructions provided for the accommodation and various aspects of the stay could have been much clearer as well. Overall, the accommodation has potential, but a little more attention to maintenance, cleanliness and communication would make a big difference.
