Palazzetto San Marco

Very comfortable accommodation 3 minutes walk from St. Mark's Square. Grocery stores, bakeries, cafes, souvenir shops, restaurants within a 5 minutes walk. Perfect accommodation for 2 people, with private bathroom, mini kitchen.

The air conditioning could have been a few degrees cooler, but we attribute this to the heat outside.

Location. Outdoor rooftop.

No hot ater. Broken espresso machine.

Lovely living room to relax all together and eat. The terrace was our favorite spot! Kitchen is well stocked and the bedrooms worked fine for us. The bathroom had lots of counter space but the shower was a bit tight. The host was amazing!

The shower was small and had a bit of mold. Also you need to be careful of the floor in the small bedroom. There is a wood beam protruding.

Location was excellent. The place has a lot of potential. The brick walls were cool and it could be excellent with a little love. The space of the unit was na good size. The manager happened upon us as we entered and was helpful in directing us.

Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend, overall. The floor is dusty and dirty - it was impossible to walk anywhere in the apartment and not get dirt stuck on my feet. The windows, which should have been the “wow” factor, were dingy and hadn’t been cleaned. The refrigerator smelled musty and didn’t feel cool enough for us to feel safe leaving any food. The few cooking items provided were stored in the same pull-out drawer as the trash can. The blinds didn’t cover the bedroom window, the small button on the toilette didn’t work, the hair dryer didn’t work unless you held a button down continuously. The shower really needed some love and had a very slippery surface as you exit. There really wasn’t sufficient drawer space so we lived out of our suitcases for two days (to be fair, the unit itself is spacious for 2 and if we had utilized the kitchen table or couch we could have stored our clothes that way - but it wasn’t what we wanted to do); one of the night stands was dirty so I wouldn’t put my clothes in there - it also had a broken bottom door. The bed was terrible…we could feel the springs and the pillows were hard. Other than the initial direction, we had no face-to-face contact with anyone.
