Breakfast at Café Ópera: very good food, excellent service, and there is always a table available. The apartment host was always very friendly.

The listing states 30 square meters, but in reality, it is less than 20, as a little over a third consists of a patio—a patio that cannot be used (it is neglected, full of mosquitoes that bite instantly, and lacks privacy, as it is overlooked by apartments in the same building and neighboring ones). Inside, there was a centipede-like creature, and there were always flies. You cannot open the window because of the mosquitoes from the patio, so the place does not get ventilated. To access the "ground floor," you have to climb three high steps, which is very difficult for older people. It has a dishwasher, but no detergent is provided for it.

Giulia's apartment was very comfortable, clean & had everything we needed for our 3-night stay. Lovely big bed, aircon & a delightful little courtyard to enjoy our coffee in the morning. We took advantage of the free breakfast at L'Opera Cafe, beautiful setting next to the Duomo. Delicious food & freindly staff.
