Very nice stay, tidy and clean. Just missing some basic facilities, which could easily be resolved.

Nice layout, very clean, easy reach of Cardiff stadium. Lots of complementary items upon arrival, which was lovely. The owners even let friend park a camper van on site overnight.

The list of facilities wasn’t correct, this included no microwave, cutlery, glasses, hair dryer etc. The owners were very good at dropping items off as and when required, however shouldn’t need to ask for basic kitchen items (knifes, folks and glasses) listed on the facilities. The owner was a bit cold in the morning about smoking in the garden, which could have easily been resolved with some no smoking signs in the garden. No rubbish bin, Hoover, brush or dustpan to clear up before leaving (especially with white tiled floor).

Pleasant stay in North Cardiff

The property were kind enough to allowed us early check- in as we were heading to an event that started at 3pm.

The property could have been cleaner and didn’t have a kettle even though it had lots of supplies to make hot drinks.

Lovely and helpful homeowners, and stylish facilities

The homeowners were incredibly helpful, available to answer plenty of questions that I asked in advance via text message and responding very quickly. When we asked for more toilet roll and the WiFi code during our stay they were very quick to respond and sort this issue. The annex, which is not advertised well on the website, was a wonderful addition which was very stylish. There were so many beds and spaces to sleep! A double bed and single bed in the main house plus a sofa bed, then 2 further double beds in the annex. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of snacks and drinks in the fridge, freezer and cupboard including cookies, ice creams etc. Good attention to detail. There were plenty of cool gadgets in the house /annex including light up mirrors in the bedrooms, a fancy shower feature where you could set a specific temperature, and an Amazon Alexa.

There were a couple of small issues with cleanliness, 2 towels we noticed had brown stains on, and when we lifted the toilet seat in the main house it was dirty underneath. The windows in the main bedrooms were covered by white shutter blinds, which were great for privacy but let in a lot of light so we were woken early in the morning. No TV in the living area in the main house which would have been nice (although there is one in the annex).
