The property was very clean, spacious and well presented.

Nice location, well furnished, good sized rooms, nice decor

The heating wasn't on when we arrived late afternoon and didn't come on properly the next morning. The house was freezing at 9 am and there were no instructions how to turn it on. We had to call the site manager to come and look and he eventually got it working but it took ages to heat up - well after we had gone out. One of the radiators was broken and didn't work at all and it was implied that we had broken it - which we hadn't. When I messaged after our stay I was told it was unreasonable to expect heating when we arrived and that it was working in the morning - it wasn't working properly and it was freezing in the house - hence why we had to get the site manager out. Both showers were practically unusable - one dribbled water out of the shower head, the other was either scalding or freezing. I only managed to shower on the first day and that was unpleasant. The coffee pod machine didn't work on the first day - the manager tried to fix it but couldn't get it working. The was a room where the light wouldn't switch off - not the end of the world, but irritating. After our stay the agents implied we stole their teaspoons!! Unfortunately what was a relatively nice apartment was spoiled by mainly the heating and the showers - but also by the lack of service and the implications that we were at fault when I was messaging afterwards. I asked for a proportion of the rental refunded, but was refused. Hey ho - live and learn!!
