I was allowed to check in early, which was much appreciated after an overnight flight. The management were very responsive to maintenance issues. The apartment was very secure with extra deadbolts, very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Easily walkable to many attractions.

This apartment is directly above a bar/nightclub and the pounding music & bar noise goes on all night, seemingly every night. See pic with the windows of the apartment highlighted. There were several maintenance issues including the bathroom electrical outlet which did not have a plastic cover (they fixed this the next day) and the washing machine which leaked all over the kitchen floor. You cannot control the radiators and it was quite cold at night. The team dropped off a space heater but only 1 heater for 3 bedrooms. It would be nice to have a couch or place to sit besides the dining room table. There is no hot tub as described in the listing, but a large jetted bathtub. The hot water was intermittent. Overall l, how much you like this apartment probably depends on what you are coming to Madrid for. If you want to stay out late you may not be bothered by the noise but I would not recommend this apartment for families with children.
