Welcome to Beach Bum A & B, located in Gulf Shores, Alabama. This spacious 6-bedroom, 4 full bathroom, 2 half bathroom duplex offers the perfect setup for large families or group getaways. With more than 2,500 square feet of living space, a private pool, fenced backyard, and ample parking for vehicles and boats, this pet-friendly retreat is ideal for those looking to relax, reconnect and enjoy the coast together.
Each side of the duplex includes a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, full-size appliances and all the cookware and utensils you need to prepare everything from quick beach snacks to full family meals. Whether you're grabbing a bite before heading out or hosting a laid-back dinner at home, you'll have everything you need at your fingertips.
The home’s layout provides flexibility and comfort for everyone in your group. Both sides include a main-level bedroom with a private bathroom, as well as two additional bedrooms upstairs. With a mix of bedding options across both levels and additional sleeping space in the living areas, there's room for everyone to rest and recharge.
Step outside and enjoy your own private pool. The fenced backyard offers a great place for pets to play, and the picnic area with charcoal grills is perfect for outdoor dining. There's plenty of space for yard games or simply soaking up the sun with your group.
Located just a short drive from the beach, Beach Bum A & B offers convenient access to outdoor recreation, scenic trails and family-friendly attractions. Whether you're into fishing, biking or just exploring the natural beauty of the coast, there’s something for everyone nearby.

Southern’s Clean Coverlet Program: This property provides fresh and clean bed linens, including comforters and coverlets, laundered prior to every check-in.
Please note there is are external security cameras monitoring the entrance doors facing down the stairs. This unit is not accessible to wheelchairs. Only a max of 4 dogs, up to 40lbs each, are allowed with an additional pet fee.

The location was great, esp w small kids, super close-like literally 1 block!! We were kinda disappointed at first w/ the house though to be honest when we showed up. Im not sure if it hadnt been rented out in awhile or what, but the grass out front was long, like almost up to kids knees in a few areas. There were several swasps nests under the deck and different beetle/pincher bugs througout the stay in the house, esp downstairs bathroom. (Yes i realize we are by the beach, but this isnt our first beach trip). The living room had a large humidifier behind the couch going that went out the window with a pool noodle. (Not mentioned nor in pics posted) It made the room very hot and not comfortable to really be in. We had to constantly keep the master door closed to keep the master somewhat cooler. Downstairs toilet seat was so loose, my kids booty went flying to the side when he sat down...funny, but couldnt tighten it, my hubby tried. The upper deck umbrella was broken with a metal pole laying on the table. Had to move it and tie it up so my kids wouldnt mess w/ it and hurt themselves.
The master shower though, amazing! Large and very clean! The pool was everything we needed!! In fact my 1 kid learned to swim with no floaties in it!! Becareful of the hose in the shower outside, great for rinsing off, but sprays water in front of the bedroom door and pools there in a large puddle. Manager was easy to talk to and get ahold of. Stay for the closeness to beach and great pool!!

This is the second time we have stayed in this beautiful home. Love the roominess, location and pool. Communication with the owners is quick and any problems are remedied quickly.

We were really pleased with the house. Everything is comfortable and clean. Plenty of towels, dishes, toilet paper and paper towels. We are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the beds were. Each room has it's own TV and cable channels. Since we had rain each day we took advantage of the board games that were available and had some really great family time. The private pool is fantastic and the outdoor shower was perfect after we walked back from the beach. We highly recommend!
