Summary:
Camp David is ideal for a large family beach gathering, corporate retreat, or ball teams. Located across from the beach featuring a private pool, beach views, & beach access 170 yards to the east. EACH SIDE consists of 1700 SF, 2 BR, 2 BA, a loft area with sleeping for up to 5, wall-mounted TV’s in each bedroom & the living area, washer & dryer, a well-equipped kitchen, & can sleep up to 8 guests for a total of 3400 SF, 4 BR, 4 BA, 2 kitchens, & 2 loft areas, sleeping up to 16 guests.
The Space:
Camp David is located 2 miles west of the Hangout and the “T”, close to all of the shopping, dining, and entertainment that Gulf Shores has to offer. Located directly across the street from the beach, you have lovely beach views. This listing is for BOTH sides of the duplex (the entire structure). Each side of our home is totally self-sufficient. Each side consists of 1700 Sf, 2-bedrooms, 2-full bathrooms, a loft area with ample sleeping arrangements, large wall-mounted TVs in each bedroom and the living area, a well-equipped kitchen (stainless appliances and tile counters), washer & dryer, Wifi, and can sleep up 8 guests. The home doesn’t have cable but every TV is a Roku Smart TV and has local channels. Bedroom #1 is located on the lower level (main level) and features a king bed, small balcony overlooking the private pool, and private bath. Bedroom #2 is located on the second level and features a queen bed and bathroom access. The loft area on Side A features two Captains bed’s (twin over full mattress) and can sleep up to 6. The loft on Side B features a queen bed and a triple bunk with single mattress, sleeping 5 in this area. There is a Jack-and-Jill bathroom connecting the landing area and bedroom #2. Now double that and you have a total of 3400 SF, 4 BR, 4 BA, 2 kitchens, and sleeping accommodations for up to 16. Public beach access is just a short walk away (170 yards or 0.1 mi to the east), located at the end of 12th St. This spacious home, professionally decorated, built in 1998 and totally renovated in 2022, is the perfect place for your next large beach gathering.
There is no dining table in the space but the expansive kitchen bar has seating for 8. Also, we have a 2 picnic tables under the home. This is great area to grill out or hang out with your entire party. The private pool with expansive sundeck is an ideal spot to cool off. There is ample parking under the home for up to 4 vehicles per side. We ask that after returning from the beach but before going in the home or hitting the pool please rinse off at the outdoor shower located under the home.
If you only need one side of this duplex, we offer them separately, listed as “Camp David Side A” and “Camp David Side B”.
🏊🏻♂️The OUTDOOR pool is NOT heated in the cooler months.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entirety of the property which includes both sides of the duplex (Side A and B) and the the private pool. The outdoor pool is NOT HEATED.
The Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of Gulf Shores, just one block from the beach, you are close to all of the shopping, dining, and entertainment that Gulf Shores has to offer.
Other Things to Note:
🏖️Public beach access is just a short walk away (170 yards or 0.1 mi to the east), located at the end of 12th St. It is about a 3 minute walk.
The homes directly across the street are private property. No trespassing on private parking or the police will be dispatched.
No beach or pool stuff (beach towels, chairs, toys, etc) is provided so you will need to bring your own. There is a Dollar General nearby with a great selection of beach stuff.
The home will include: one roll of tp, bar of soap, & small shampoo/ conditioner per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, dish rag, one garbage bag in each can, and one dishwasher soap. This is meant more as a convenience in case you arrive late and don't have a chance to make it to store. This isn't meant to last for your entire stay.
Insurance stipulations don't allow us to provide anything which may be consumed. This includes: salt, pepper, oil, etc.
All TVs are Roku Smart TVs. They will get local channels but there is no cable.
This home does require ability to navigate stairs.
Interaction with Guests:
We only respond to Airbnb messages during business hours but are available 24/7 for any emergency.

Rented both sides for family trip. Hosts were easily reached when we encountered some issues with one side of the unit and responded quickly with a resolution. Short walk to the beach. The outside layout with the covered porch and pool is perfect. Pool and outside area very clean. Had a great family trip
