The location of the property and views are second to none. The house was modern, clean, and right on the water. Just a stone's throw to the water, with views of the Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac Island. The house is just minutes from amenities, restaurants, and the ferry to the island. The beds were comfortable, and it was nice to have laundry facilities.

Great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone. Right on the lake and fairly secluded. Clean and everything seemed new. I only a couple minor concerns.1. Google maps takes you to the wrong sode of the road. This is not the owners fault but I think an issue woth google maps location.2. Llighting in the house was limited to eaither super bright or no lights. This is more of a personnel prfrnace, I like lights then can make a room dimmer in the evenings. But if thats not your thing, then this would be great.Other then that my family and I loved it!!!

Getting to the property and getting on to the property was stressful. Do NOT follow Google map directions! The property is off to the right of 23 coming in from the south. Google takes you to the other side of 23. The hosts need to add detailed instructions to get there. The property location is lovely with a great deck! There is a wonderful view of Lake Huron and Mackinac Island, and you can see the bridge. Located 10 minutes from the ferry. The house was VERY clean and linens, etc. were very nice. Lots of midge flies, bring repellent. Inaccurate description: advertised 3 bathrooms - only two. Queen and two twins bedroom had no mattress on the trundle twin. Realizing it's new, there needs to be more furniture - a couple more chairs in the living room and end tables in the bedrooms - no place to lay a cell phone or alarm, etc. Lots of closet space! Unfortunately, we were sent the wrong code for the lock-box to the property gate. It took one and a half hours to get it. After many texts and emails (could not reach a person by calling), after an hour and a half, I was sent the correct code (reverse order of the one sent to me). Luckily, I had email capability - some might not. By then, we had carried all our luggage down to the house. Bad start.... I would not say to let this keep you from going to this place. Just be aware. After the initial problems, the stay was good. It IS a lovely property. We enjoyed our stay after the initial problems.

This property is like-new...clean and well maintained. Lake access and view of Mackinac Island and Mackinaw bridge are amazing! However, RENTERS BEWARE OF DECEPTIVE LISTING. It has been 5 days since we attempted to contact the property manager, Red Awning, and eventually VRBO with no corrections made at the time of this review. The description continues to claim that this property sleeps 10, with 3 bathrooms and 5 beds. The truth is there are only 2 bathrooms and only 4 beds - enough for 7 people, NOT 10 (unless you plan to fit 3 people on a sectional couch that does not open into a bed). We rented this property intending to accommodate 3 separate married couples with the assumption that we would each have our own bathroom. Very disappointing.Also, the address link on the check-in instructions took us to a vacant wooded lot across the highway. We thought we had been completely scammed until we found the property on the other side of the highway by the lake.
