ABOUT THE RENTAL
A serene setting directly on Munro Lake, this three bedroom, two bath home is a perfect getaway for any season! A quick drive to many Northern Michigan favorites. *Please note this is in a remote location. There is a Verizon hot spot at this home, but it is spotty and often goes in and out of service. It's best to plan on not having it and to enjoy the natural beauty of Northern Michigan! You are welcomed into the home through the kitchen and dining area which is open to the living room overlooking the lakefront. There is also a perfect little game table area in the living room as well. Stainless steel appliances and a large dining room table seating six makes it a great space for cooking meals in. There are four extra seats at the breakfast bar as well. The split floor plan offers more privacy to the primary bedroom with a king bed and an en suite, including a large soaking tub and shower and spacious closet space. The second bedroom located on the opposite end of the home has a full-size bed and the third bedroom across the hall from it offers four twins (two bunk beds) which is a great place for kids to hang out or for you to separate a bit if it’s a guy’s weekend away on the snowmobiles. Grab a glass of wine and sit on the large deck to take in the spacious yard and great view of the lake or sit at the lakeshore in the old-time hammock suspended from the many trees. The two-car garage is available for use and a great spot to store your toys during your stay. Bring your boat, kayak, and paddleboards and use the dock to enjoy your time on the lake.
*This property allows two dogs, maximum. A non-refundable $150.00 cleaning fee will be charged per pet.

The Lakeview was good, and the inside of the house was clean with a few exceptions. The house was pretty much as described.

The property is in a convenient and private location 20 minutes from Macinaw City. It's a cute and comfortable place with easy access to the lake, however, it is in need of some maintenance and TLC. The sliding glass door to the back required some major force to open and close, the bathroom window was broken and there was pink mold on the shower curtain. The Teflon in the cooking pan we used flaked off and many of the sharp knives were broken. The deck was in desperate need of paint but maybe that was in the works since some of the boards were replaced.
