Ella Sky Cabana

Olimme yhden yön Ella Sky Cabanassa. Sijainti kaupungin ulkopuolella n 12km keskustasta. Tämä ei meitä haitannut, halusimmekin rauhallisen paikan missä rentoutua. Maisemat olivat upeat. Itse majoitus oli siisti ja kaikinpuolin juuri sitä mitä haimme, mökki viidakossa. Omistaja pariskunta olivat mukavia ja avuliaita. Söimme illallisen, mikä oli erittäin maistuva ja edullinen. Ehdottomasti suosittelen, jos kaipaat rauhaa kaupunginvilinästä.

Meitä ei haitannut, mutta majoitukselle oli lyhyt kiipeäminen. Ei sovellu huonojalkaisille.

The view is spectacular!! Close to swimming holes and waterfalls. Tharaka and his family are so beautiful - we even got to spend time with them in their home and with their children, learning Sinhala and eating incredible home cooked food! If you are wanting somewhere that’s a bit more remote, serene, beautiful, and authentic, this is the place!!

A mosquito net is provided but bring repellent in case :)

The host family was incredibly friendly, warm-hearted and welcoming. The accommodation is a little outside of Ella, around a 15-minute tuk-tuk ride (about 2,500 rupees), but the location is absolutely worth it. The room was beautiful, with a lovely terrace and an amazing view over the green hills. Every morning, the hosts brought us a delicious breakfast directly to the terrace, which made the stay even more special. I would also definitely recommend trying the dinner in the hosts’ living room – the best rice and curry we had! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay and your amazing hospitality. We really enjoyed our time here!
