Koshi's Country Cottage Ella

Every breath we took was so pure & mixed with the scent of nature …should have stayed longer.. Amazing stay with an excellent service. The buzzing scent of nature was so pure… Comfortable and clean rooms and bathrooms. We had delicious home made breakfast and dinner. The place has an amazing view and private, peaceful and relaxing surroundings made us wanting to stay longer. The owner lady Koshi was helpful & friendly, and the staff helped us with our laundry as well. We really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this place to stay at least 2 nights or more to relax and enjoy the countryside. We would definitely come again next year for a longer stay at this amazing cottage.

There was nothing to complain

Perfect place to stay between stages 14 and 15 on the Pekoe trail. Cozy, very private cottage with 4G WiFi, Star TV and hot water. Beautiful relaxing garden and home cooked delicious food made our stay extra special after a long hike. Friendly host Koshi who was in touch all the time made our stay exceptionally comfortable. Highly recommend this clean private cottage with an amazing view.

The owner lady Koshi was always in touch and provided outstanding service from the very beginning and made our stay feel genuinely welcoming. We had delicious home cooked breakfast and dinner and the house keeping lady Puwa was extremely helpful. We enjoyed the 4G high speed WiFi and this calm , relaxing environment with full of nature. Our cozy night, sipping a glass of wine by the fire place was exceptional indeed. We honestly had a stay worth the money we paid and recommend this amazing place to anyone who enjoys the colonial atmosphere.

Koshi's Country Cottage is a delightful bungalow on the Ampitigoda tea estate. We were greeted by the friendly caretaker and got a home cooked dinner and delicious breakfast. All our needs were met with a smile. The bungalow was once the main office of the family estate but is now a very peaceful holiday getaway nestled amongst the forrest. If you like wildlife and peace this is the place for you. Not far from main town of Ella with many attractions and nightlife its a perfect location to explore the area. Koshi's is also 10min round the corner from the amazing coffee roasters Roselands where you can get a tour of the coffee roastworks and have a delicious real espresso or cappuccino! We were hiking the Pekoe Trail and stages 17/18 started and ended very near the cottage. We really enjoyed the natural charm of the place and would recommend this place to anyone wishing for some rest and relaxation. Koshi made sure we were well looked after and we were very greatful for such personal care. We will definitely be back.
