About this cabin rental
Camping Pods offer guests the freedom of camping in the countryside but with more protection from the elements in a wooden structure complete with electricity, heater, TV, and carpeting. Shower & WC pods are also within the secluded woodland for the sole use of Mega and Camping pod guests. Each Camping Pod includes its own private outside space, complete with decking, a wood chip yard, a picnic table, a BBQ plinth, and a fire pit. They are dog friendly.
NOTE: Guests will need to bring camping equipment including sleeping bags. Due to the location, you are unable to park next to the pod. However, the car park is only a 2-minute walk from the furthest pod.
We’re proud to say that many of our guests have been visiting us for years so we’ve been lucky enough to feature in many family memories. Whether it’s been large family gatherings, friends having an annual get-together, or couples just looking to escape from day-to-day life, each year is a pleasure!
Starting life as a caravan and campsite, we introduced glamping in 2013 with the addition of mega pods, standard camping pods, bell tents, and a shepherd’s hut. Deer’s Glade now has 109 caravan and camping pitches. These are predominantly deluxe pitches with electric hook-ups and TV points. There is also a small selection of standard non-electric-pitches and hard-standing pitches and one fully-serviced pitch. The glamping experience has just been extended further in 2024 introducing five new luxury glamping pods complete with hot tubs.
Between Aylsham and Cromer and near the village Alby with Thwaite, the holiday park is located in Hanworth on White Post Road just off the A140. Here you’ll also find the hub of the Deer’s Glade Leisure empire, Attew & Sons Farm where it all began. Deer’s Glade Cottages can be found on the common. Muntjac Meadow wild camping is within walking distance and Deer’s Mead, camping and caravanning for adults, down the road in the village of Erpingham.
Each of our sites have a close affinity with nature and wildlife, and we’re passionate about preserving the natural habitats on our doorstep. Obviously, our special guests, red, fallow, roe, and muntjac deer often frequent the park, and if you’re lucky you might have the chance to witness a passing local herd.
