Nothing
What a massive disappointment
Photos on internet are not a true representation of actual abysmal state of the bungalow and gardens.
It’s well beyond shabby. We very nearly walked straight back out again when we got there.
Looked at reviews from two years ago and nothing has changed. We are astonished anyone has rated it good.
We will be making direct contact with booking.com to recommend they remove it from their website. It’s filthy and needs a total refurbishment. This is the worst place we have ever stayed in.

The location was good - quiet lane but near to Cromer. Large driveway
The bungalow smelt horrible, the bed linen was dirty and smelled disgusting. There was not washing liquid so wasn't able to wash the bedding, the washing machine stank and was moldy. Messaged the owner and he left some washing liquid and some washing machine cleaner on the step. There were rugs everywhere that were slip hazards and were not clean either. There are 3 different types of flooring in the main living area - floor boards, carpet and tiles - the edges to each different surface is a trip hazard. The place was dirty, cobwebs everywhere, mold on the windows and found glass in the corner of the room. The kitchen was well stocked but everything needed cleaning before use as it was dirty. The dishwasher was dirty. There are no cupboards to store food as they are all full of kitchenware of some sort. The shower in the bathroom was broken and hung off the wall and when in use, we had to push it back into place. The garden is very dangerous, so many different levels and trip hazards. There is a stagnant pond and 'stream' with a bridge over it that felt very unsafe. I took my elderly mother here but it was very unsafe for her, it would also be unsafe for children.

didn't stay long enough

From the moment we booked all the way until the day of arrival the owner was very communicative and welcoming.
The property was well equipped. Upon our arrival there was chocolates, bottled water, grapes and a bottle of Asti. Which was very thoughtful and kind. Thank you.
The position of the property was excellent and central to most of the places we wanted to visit. The area is beautiful and the local people are very friendly.
As previously mentioned the property could do with a spring clean and a bit of tlc but that didn't detract from an excellent stay and great value for money.

Quiet location

Peaceholm has a cosy cottage feel to it. It’s warm and comfortable and well cleaned, has very reasonable check in and out times, and the host left some Prosecco and chocolates as a welcome gift.
As a family with two kids and a dog looking for a break on a budget, this ticked all the boxes for us.
It’s not new and shiny, so if you are looking for modern and sleek you are better off paying more and going elsewhere.

Everything was great.

We found Peaceholm to be a lovely comfortable bungalow for our weekend stay in Cromer. The location was great as it is close to where my sister lives and handy to get into Cromer. It was perfect for my elderly dog as he really enjoyed lying in the sunny conservatory and being able to go out in the garden.
We would definitely stay here again.

secure front and back to the property quite location everything you need in the property level flooring easy access very spacious throughout .nice welcome gifts prosecco chocolates tea bags milk and grapes waiting for us in the bungalow.
as there was gas in the property there was no smoke alarm and no carbon monoxide monitor fitted only fire blanket and fire extinguisher which is not good for people staying in the property .the back and front garden could do with some weeding and pruning .no welcome book with instructions to any of the appliances or emergency contacts.in need of modernising to the inside of the property.around 30 mins walk to the town .

Garden needs lots of attention
6.0 / 10.0
The property was spacious with private parking. The host left a welcome pack - milk, lemonade, bottled water and chocolates.
The property was run down - The front and rear gardens were full of weeds and the outside furniture needed a good clean. The decoration and equipment needed an update. The TV constantly lost signal. The bedding and towels although clean were of poor quality and felt worn. The place felt cluttered and like someone's home not a letting property. To summarise TLC very much needed to make the property desirable.

Such a lovely, spacious house and garden and the little touches were very much appreciated!
Very much a home from home that made our little break away all that much better. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be back next year

The accommodation was ideal for 4 of us and a dog .Close to Cromer and surrounding area. Everything you needed was in the bungalow.
We also had a lovely little welcome pack.
Tha accommodation was clean but could do with some updating.

Ideally situated for visiting local attractions.
Spacious, clean and fully equipped accommodation with ample parking.
Very thoughtful host, excellent communication and directions. Very much appreciated the welcome drink and chocolates, thank you Ken.
Lovely spacious main bathroom but the second toilet could not really be used as a shower room so if both couples wanted separate facilities this is not ideal. Although it would work perfectly for a family who are happy to share.
The accommodation is a bit tired and the garden a bit neglected, however, this is definitely reflected in the price.
All things considered, this was definitely good value for the money and we would be happy to stay again.

Great location and very comfortable stay.
Would recommend especially if you want your own kitchen facilities.
The bath could do with an upgrade.

Loved that there was everything you could think of needing, books, games, salt/ pepper washing facilities, menus. you name it, it was there!
standard of work in bathroom not great. Some things looking tired. Weeds everywhere! Which ruins a fabulous bbq outdoor space.

Plenty of space . Kitchen was well stocked with plates , cutlery and glasses etc. Very nice lemonade and chocolates plus the semi skimmed milk left for us to use . The conservatory meant a good view of the many birds that visited the garden.
The garden was disappointing. We like rustic , but to many weeds and thorny brambles growing around the table and chairs. To much gravel / pebbles , a paved area for the outside table would have been better .

Ken gave very good directions including the lock box code prior to departure date. The property exceeded our expectations and was very good value for money being spacious, comfortable, airy and with all amenities needed including a pint of milk and bottle of water on arrival (much appreciated for our cup of tea before hitting the local shops).
The garden was lovely and overall it was very peaceful, parking was great given that its off a private road and the driveway is a good size.
The beds were comfortable and the property has 2 bathrooms, one being a small wet room with toilet and the other having a large shower and bath.
Location wise it was ideal for us as we used it as a base for Cromer but also for other local sights such as the towns off the coastal road and the nearby beaches.
The only draw back would be if you prefer to stay very central to town or close to the beach, its about a mile and half walk into Cromer town center and the pier which is very doable if you are mobile but not feasible if you have mobility issues or tire easily. It wasn't an issue for us as we didn't mind driving down and parked very easily in the town center.

convenient to Cromer, property had everything and more for a great stay
couldn’t close the gates easily

The place needed modernising. There was dust and cobwebs, broken uneven floor tiles, loose toilet seat. There was hair in the old bedlinen. The steel bath looked like it had been repainted. The heating came on only for a short time, morning and evening, with no access to controls. - ok in summer but not in a British April.
Don't know how this place was rated 3 stars.

Plenty of space. Lovely size garden. Beds were comfortable. Bungalow was within walking distance of Cromer beach and town centre. It was useful having a washing machine and a line to dry washing.
The bungalow could do with a thorough clean and some TLC.
