It was a lovely apartment. In good location. We’ll set out, very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Good parking. Owners were friendly and polite.

Needed a mirror in the second bedroom, set lower down for shorter people and some hanging space, like a mini wardrobe. An additional light above the mirrored wardrobe in main bedroom, as it was dark. Add an extra chopping board + baking trays in kitchen. Large knives need sharpening.

Excellent location but sadly flat didn’t quite live up to expectations.

Location close to Portsmouth Harbour station and Gunwharf Quays was excellent, especially as the flat came with a parking space. Kitchen was well appointed and there was coffee and tea, etc in cupboards and shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in bathrooms. Good reliable WiFi.

Unfortunately the cleanliness wasn’t great. The grill pan and baking tray were both dirty with grease and food residue from previous guests. The shower trap/drain was slow to drain and on closer inspection we realised this was due to significant accumulation of hair and soap residue. The sofa was a rather old sofa bed that had seen better days and some of the upholstery was ripped and the cushion padding very worn and so gave very little support. The mattress in the principal bedroom was also well worn and so not especially comfortable. Some of the plants had clearly not been watered recently and so were turning brown and dying. Whilst not the owner’s fault, the communal areas of the block were poorly maintained with rubbish deposited on window sills, in lift, etc and there was a strong unpleasant smell in the corridor by the bin store.

An enjoyable and comfortable place to stay in Portsmouth

The location is perfect as we wanted to visit Mary Rose and HMS Victory - the reason for our visit. The flat has a lovely lay out and very generous in size. On site parking is a big bonus. Dan and Ling gave very clear instructions for parking and how to get the keys and how to get in the apartment. We both find the beds very comfortable. The apartment is very clean. We didn't cook so cannot comment on how well the kitchen is equipped but has all the essentials such as kettles, toaster and microwave. Very good water pressure in the en suite shower.

Everything is good. We did read the comments about the glass table and were ultra careful but we still bumped our legs at the table a couple of times! Yes, agreed, if I can change anything, probably is the glass coffee table!! The sofa is a big lumpy but I know Dan and Ling has arranged for a new replacement sofa arriving in Feb 26 so future travellers can enjoy the new sofa!

The apartment was great, well equipped, warm and comfortable, Christmas decorations were a lovely touch. Great location between the city centre and Gunwharf Quays. Designated parking was a great bonus.

Absolute scammer

Location, but the place is not easy to find.

Broken bed, baby cot, toilet lid, pots and shower, and the host accuses us of breaking the bed to extract £150 payment. Absolute scammer.

Fantastic host & location with a stunning flat that had everything we needed

The apartment was fantastic, everything we needed traveling with children. We had everything we needed in a very clean comfortable space.

My only change if I had a wand would be to replace the glass coffee table, the children kept walking in to it 🫣

We had a pleasant stay in vicinity of historical dockyards.

The apartment is approx. 5 mins walking distance from the historical dockyards. Apartment was clean, comfy and well equipped. I have received detailed description where to park, how to get the key from the locker and how to get to the apartment. Hosts were kind and helpful in every aspect, communication was instant and without any issue.

As the apartment is close to the city center, it was little bit noisy in the evening (before 10 p.m.). But it was quiet during the night.

The apartment is spacious with 2 bathrooms, the kitchen has everything you need and the washer/dryer combo is very convenient. Convenience store is 1 minute away.

Great place to stay for a multiple day tour of the Naval Museum

Lovely, roomy apartment which is very close to the Naval Museum. Our commutation with Dan was excellent. He responded very quickly and all instructions were clear.

Great place to explore Portsmouth

Very responsive hosts. Left an item and they returned it to us that day, as we were still in the area. Nice apartment with cute balcony, which was nice for enjoying an afternoon drink in the sun. Clean and well equipped crockery wise.

Shower in one of the bathrooms is low so ended up all showering in the en-suite.

Excellent all round

The location is excellent especially for the historic docklands. Instructions for parking and keys and location of apartment within the building were clear and concise. Superb apartment, clean and tidy. We were grateful for the free WiFi. Great shower and also having a separate bath was lovely. Nice to have a soak and soothe tired feet after a great few days walking. We weren’t able to make use of the balcony this time but a lovely addition. Impeccable hosts

It was very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for me and my family for a night stay. Amazing location for the concert we was going too, and the instructions to get into the place was so clear which make it very easy. Daniel the host was very kind too.

Perfect short break...property and location were excellent

Great location, walking distance to the Historic docks and museum, the ferries and Gunwharf quay
