Heritage Hideaway - Refurbished Flinders St Gem

The location was fantastic as were the apartment’s facilities.

I’m not a big fan of soft beds but the sofa bed was great.

Apartment wasn’t that clean, floor was quite dirty.

A gorgeous little apartment! Super convenient location next to Flinders Street Station in the heart of the city but still very quiet. Comfortable couch and bed with high-quality linens and blankets. Spotlessly clean. Coffee machine and washer/dryer both came in very handy. Friendly and helpful hosts. Absolutely loved my stay here, my new go-to accommodation in Melbourne!

Great location, and quiet apartment, was a good size for a couple for a few days.

You always had to have the lights on, hardly any natural light, which isn’t a problem but wasn’t mentioned in the listing but you’re right up against another building, looking out to rubbish bins in an alley way (and also men peeing) It wasn’t that clean, it seemed like a rushed clean perhaps before we arrived. The bathroom and shower floor were dirty, covered in long black hair (looked like someone used the lint roller to get rid of hairs?! Which was left in bathroom coated in them. Bottles in shower and hand soap were basically empty. Some of the kitchen utensils were covered in food/grease. We ended up having more meals out than we planned.
