Lovely cottage, had everything we needed! Really helpful that they had dog towels as our dog did get a little muddy after a walk so that was great. Cosy and spacious

Lovely little cottage set in a very peaceful and picturesque part of the lakes. Comfortable beds and lounge area. Great little place.

Very teeny thing that would be useful is a tea towel and hand towel in the kitchen. Putting the dishwasher on for a few pots didn’t seem like a good use of energy

supposed be pet friendly but wasnt really.We went away for few days for a birthday celebration and ended up doing all cleaning before we left which I think is a bit off putting for a holiday.Having to strip down beds and put in dishwasher on before we left.i would never leave a place untidy anyhow but found doing chores on my birthday holiday a bit much.When a surely a cleaner is paid to do this anyhow

Would Happily Stay Again

Loved our stay. It’s a cosy cottage in a quiet location, beautifully decorated and very reasonably priced for the standard. There was a private parking space and the WiFi was very good. We would happily stay again.

Only minor, but a few extra kitchen utensils would have been nice and there wasn’t enough coffee so I had to buy extra.

A lovely well-presented cottage with good local walks.

A lovely well-presented cottage with good local walks. There was ample space to relax in the evenings. It's great to have wifi and tv etc. Local pubs do good food but they're bit lacking out of season in February but great beer. Thankfully, our second night ,there was chippy and chinise takeaway in the next village, so didn'y need to go without. If you are a bit short of provisions, there's a local shop in Cark only a short walk from the cottage. The host was super communicative and responsive. We'll prob visit again.

We're not the most seasoned of travellers, so we may need to pack some essentials for arrival next time.

Cosy and relaxing

The location of the property was perfect, in a lovely quiet area with parking at the front of the property. The cottage was lovely and clean, plenty of space and lots of lovely little touches that really made the place stand out! The hosts were great, and took time out of their day to explain the heating system which was super simple after a quick phone call!
