Lively spacious cottage and the view from the lounge is beautiful. Great central location in the lively Cartmel village.

Great central location

The parking was tight but that was explained before we arrived. The entrance to the cottage is not the best and could be a lot tidier. This is shared with the cafe at the front of the square so not sure what influence the owners can have ?

Would definitely book again if we were looking to stay in Cartmel

Fantastic retreat right in the centre of Cartmel. As our stay was over the festive period, the hosts decorated the entire cottage which was fantastic. Welcome bubbly and chocolates another brilliant touch.

Excellent place to stay in Cartmel. Location is in the main square with a free parking space.

Location is exceptional and a bonus free parking space which is rare In Cartmel. It’s near all of the local pubs, shops and restaurants. The cottage exceeded our expectations and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The owners had left us a bottle of fizz and box of chocolates, which was a nice touch, and had Christmas decorations, which added to the time of year we were there. We will definitely stay here again, next time we go to Cartmel.

Quick get way nice clean accommodation.

It’s was fine good accommodation for 5 of us . This was last minute planning. Only issue was AC sound of adjacent hotel can be hear when you wakes up in middle of night. Some old smell in living room? From furnitures . Other than happy about the stay. Parking was helpful but pub lady’s car was parked in cottage space ( parking is very difficult in streets) so struggled to get parking in first day after that it was ok. To find car park you need to be clearly follow the instructions.

Its a great little cottage and the location is hard to beat - we had a really lovely stay

The location is exceptional - right in the heart of Cartmel, with car parking on site. The host agreed to an earlier check in which was much appreciated and there was a welcome gift on arrival plus lots of tea and coffee. There is a lovely view from the sitting room - you could not get a better location for Cartmel, plus its pet friendly!

The bedroom curtains don’t fit brilliantly in the upstairs room

Spacious property which was good for a groups trip. We are able to bond together which was lovely. It’s got good amenities like good heating, strong water pressure and all the cutlery and crockery you need.

Can’t say anything wrong with the property. The only minor niggles 1) the noise from the extractor fan on the hotel was a bit annoying 2) parking the owner of the coffee shop had loads of room to park but insisted on leaving her car partially blocking the cottages drive way

Warm, friendly and great food.

Loved Cartmel and surrounding area. The cottage is great for 3-4 people. One bathroom might be an issue for more. We had quite a few rainy days but there's plenty to do. The cottage could do with a drying rack and a mop. Really liked the Priory, the pubs and the local people.

The parking is scary. Definitely not for 2 cars and, without a second person directing, it's a nightmare to get out.
