About this house rental
If you enjoy a peaceful, laid back stay with a view of the river but still close to shopping and dining, then this is for you! This quaint little cottage sits on the banks of the Kanawha River. Sit on the couch and watch the river roll by or enjoy it from the picnic table outside. Inside you will find two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, TV, desk and chest of drawers and the second with a full size bed, TV, chest of drawers and a stackable washer and dryer. The kitchen is well equipped with a french door fridge, gas range and microwave fully equipped with everything you need to whip up a delicious dinner. A charcoal grill is also on the property if you prefer to cook outside. The bathroom has a shower/tub combo and is stocked with towels, wash cloths, body soap, shampoo, conditioner and a blow dryer. All bed linens are also included along with detergent if you want to do laundry before you leave! Close to shopping, dining and grocery stores. You will truly love this cozy cottage on the river!

Me and my friends stayed here, and it was very nice. The interior was very cozy, and the house had a beautiful view of the river.

Nothing is far to get to. CVS is very close to grab snacks or items forgotten. Lovely property where host provides everything you might need. Easy to keep tidy. Appliances are new and function well. Did not use oven. Host has made was visiting friends so didn’t explore the attractions but near main roads so it seems it would be easy to get to anything. Capital Market is not far for fresh, reasonably prices groceries, terrific little cheese and wine shop. You can find many items made in WV. Fabulous meat market too. Proprietors are friendly and very helpful Soho restaurant has delicious fair. Soup and pizza is wonderful. Many suggestions for activities provided by thoughtful hope. I found it so relaxing to be by the river and read. Host is responsive, friendly and helpful. Will certainly book here again when I come to town, looking forward to it.

This lil place is in the heart of Dunbar. It was so easy to get to and had everything we needed. My girls only complaint was that the bed in their room made noise every time they moved, otherwise the place was perfect. The host was very responsive when we had a question about the TV. There is a Kroger and an Aldi very close if you need to get some groceries. Great place, we felt very safe. We will be back and will stay here again when we return!
