About this cottage rental
Located in Baldwin, Michigan on beautiful Big Star Lake, this cottage is ideal. 100 feet of waterfront with your own beach. Cottage has 4 bedrooms including 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, and 3 bunk bed set (6 beds), guests will have plenty of space to unwind. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with showers and hair dryers for added convenience. Air conditioning, a washer and dryer, gas grill, Blackstone, paddleboat, two kayaks, heating, and WiFi are also included. Sunsets are incredible as you enjoy the evening with a fire in the solo stove.
There is enough parking at the bottom of the driveway for one or two vehicles with additional space for parking at the top of the drive for another 4 or 5 vehicles.

This was an amazing stay for our group of 12! The cabin had plenty of space for everyone to spread out and find some privacy when needed. The little ones loved the shallow, warm water and sandy beach—it was perfect for safe, splashy fun. We brought our boat and were able to moor it just offshore, which made tubing and fishing super convenient. The teens and adults also had a blast using the paddle boards and kayaks provided.The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the Blackstone grill was a great bonus!Phone service was spotty depending on the carrier, and the internet was on the slower side—but that’s to be expected in a more remote, relaxing setting.Don’t let the driveway photo intimidate you—there’s plenty of parking available on-site.Overall, it was the perfect spot for family fun and relaxation. We’d absolutely come back!

This was one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed in! Not only was the location beautiful (being directly on the lake) but the beach and water were clean for swimming, and we were able to bring our boat up to enjoy for the week. The home was fully stocked and the bonus amenities (kayaks, paddleboards, fire pit, etc.) made the week even better. We all slept soundly on the comfortable beds (the AC really helped with the hot weather too!). We truly couldn't have asked for a better spot to spend time reconnecting as a family!
