Cosy Single Room with Workspace Cardiff Bay

Location was excellent, I needed to be close to the Millennium Centre and this place is literally 5 mins away and is so central to everything in Cardiff Bay.

Room is small but this wasn’t an issue as I was hardly there apart from to sleep but the bed was clean and comfortable.

Es gibt keine Klimaanlage( man weiß es vor der Buchung) , d.h. wenn es heiß ist, kann es im Zimmer unerträglich sein. Das soll man beachten. Es gibt 2 Duschen. Eine war am 2. Tag kaputt. Das Haus ist alt und man hört alles. Die Matratze und Kissen nicht gut. Man hört auch ständig die Möwen, mit dem geöffneten Fenster. Aber so ist es, wenn man in Bay wohnt)

The room was clean and comfortable, with a kettle and tea/coffee, even courtesy ear plugs. The place is easy to find and get into, and the communications from the host were clear. Perfect.

I liked how comfortable the accommodation was in how it was designed and its facilities. I really just needed something simple for the night and this was perfect. But for as simple as it was there was a lot of thought in the design, layout, necessities, communication from the hosts, and small choices that made the place very comfortable. I felt very safe in this location in both the area of the accommodation as well as the accommodation itself. I honestly even liked the placement of lamps, plugs, desk space, drawers etc as they were small things I wanted. I was worried about sharing the bathroom spaces but this wasn't an issue as there were 2 toilets downstairs as well as two bathrooms upstairs - I never had to wait to use these spaces.The heating is also great and everything was so clean and looked like it was well looked after. All in all, I was really happy with my stay and would recommend it.

The hosts make efforts to block sound providing ear plugs and putting up signs for guests to be quiet after certain hours, but noise does travel well through the rooms. I could hear people chatting and snoring etc in the other rooms. I'm not really sure what the hosts could do about this as they've clearly made efforts to help with this. I would be happy staying here again though despite these things because it honestly wasn't that bad and the other guests seemed quite respectful (and the cost was very reasonable).
