Seemed to be a newly refurbished room.
A lot of stairs up to room nad communal areas need sprucing up.

Great location. We had the king room with the bathroom which was a good size with plenty of storage. Friendly and helpful owners and staff. Thank you so much, we will be back as we love Whitby
We would have loved a view over the abbey instead of the street view but that didn't spoil our stay

Was clean
Unfortunately the key for our bathroom didn't work only managed to sort it because we heard someone having trouble with theirs the key they had worked on our bathroom but the key we had didn't fit theirs so don't know how they went on also there wasn't a plug for the sink which was awkward!
