Capsule Rooms, FREE PRIVATE PARKING

The location is excellent. Plenty of bars and places to eat locally. We parked the car and left it there for the weekend. Everything is within easy walking distance. The room was adequate size wise, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a reasonable size.

The electric shower was a bit difficult to regulate. The room could be improved with a few coat hangers (there was only one). Our room was on the ground floor with a window to the front of the property. There wasn't a blind for privacy, so the only option was to close the curtains. As the lighting is low voltage it was rather dim when getting ready to go out.

Basic but essentials were there

There isn’t much any space to open two suitcases.

I liked that it was close to Whitby harbour.

The room wasn't very clean. The toilet was dirty under the rim with feces. I work as a cleaner myself and found the room unacceptable. There was dust on the picture frames, carpet hadn't been hoovered properly, the light above the desk did not work and the drains in the bathroom smelled bad. There was bleeping constantly coming from outside the room all night also. The only thing that was clean was the bed.
