Waves - Seaside Escape

Beautiful, well equipped apartment overlooking the sea. The apartment is within walking distance to the most amazing restaurants and shops. We loved our stay here and we will be back.

Tolle Lage, zu Fuß sind es 20-25 Minuten an den venezianischen Hafen und in die Altstadt. Dennoch ruhig, man hört oftmals nur das Meer rauschen. Die Ausstattung war okay, jedoch auf das nötigste begrenzt. Die Gastgeberin war insgesamt gut zu erreichen.

Die Lage - aber in Bezug auf die Parksituation. Vor der Tür sind nur Parkplätze für Anwohner, parkt man dort werden die Nummernschilder abgeschraubt und man darf erstmal zur Polizei um diese abzuholen. Das wird ausdrücklich nicht kritisiert sondern der alternative Parkplatz der nicht ausgeschildert, schwer zu finden und außerdem immer komplett voll war, wir hätten andere Autos zuparken müssen um uns dort hinzustellen, daran sollte dringend gearbeitet werden. Die Gegend selbst ist schön, aber die vielen verfallenen Bauten drumherum sind unansehnlich und wecken in der Dämmerung kein Vertrauen.

Cannot have a parking place

I had an incredible stay at Waves -seaside escape ! The sea is literally the backyard, and starting every morning with the sound of the waves and finishing the day with a breathtaking sunset was definitely a highlight. The home itself is very comfortable, and falling asleep to the soothing sound of the ocean waves was just perfect. It's an easy and beautiful 20-minute walk to Chania town, and the WiFi was great for working remotely. Angeliki was an amazing host, going above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. This is definitely one of the best Airbnbs I've stayed in – highly recommend!
