View Point Apartment

Hands down this has been the best apartment hosts I have had the pleasure to meet. Markos met us for check in and to show us our parking spot & the apartment. He opened the door and just wow...gorgeous view of the sea and a very modern, clean apartment with very thoughtful design details. They had stocked the apartment with EVERYTHING one could need and then...his Mom made us a cake and another day brought us a traditional Greek pie. The refrigerator had ingredients to make Cretan Dakos, fruits, yogurts, meats & cheese, beer, soda. The cupboards had coffee, spices, sugar, olive oil, honey local wine. We really didn't need to go to the grocery store for days! The modern kitchen has all appliances and plenty of tools if you plan to cook. (we made Dakos & Greek salads most days) The beds were comfortable and the large windows have room darkening blinds for complete darkness if desired. The apartment has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Two bedrooms are adjacent and share a bathroom with the washing machine, the other bedroom and bathroom are on the other side of the living space. The old town of Chania was an easy 15-20 minute walk along the sea from the apartment and the grocery store a few blocks away. Crete is a huge island, so having a car and a home base in Chania was perfect for exploring the north end of the island. We did a food tour with Christos of Blessed Crete our first full day which was amazing as he took us to places that were basically history in Chania food to experience traditional Cretan dishes. The Cretan people are absolutely lovely, we truly felt welcomed everywhere. We spent a week on the island and can not recommend Markos's apartment & hospitality enough! He is building another unit above this one which will have even more of an amazing view, so maybe we will see that one day!

Location was great close to shops and the beach.

Das Apartment hat eine tolle Aussicht und ist wunderbar gelegen, um von dort aus den Westen Kretas mithilfe eines Mietwagens zu erkunden. Markos ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Apartment was very clean, well equipped and lovely decor. It provided us with a very comfortable and enjoyable stay in Chania which was just a short walk away. The owner was an excellent host, nothing was too much trouble and vey enjoyed the welcome pack and home cooked items - thank you!
