Vitro art House-in the heart of Chania

The host met us to hand over keys so there was no issues in accessing the property. The host was very helpful in providing lots of information to get us started on our break.

We were disappointed that there was insufficient room on the balcony to be able to sit out. Having an outside area, albeit small, would have been very useful.

We booked this apartment last minute due to a travel change. Our host was wonderful and went above and beyond to make our honeymoon feel special. On arrival we found traditional Greek wedding koufeta, baked goods, fresh fruit and a beautiful letter. It was such a kind and personal gesture. She also arranged a late-night check-in for us, which made a long travel day much easier. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and the washing machine was a big plus for our trip.

There were a few things that held our stay back. While the location is close to the centre, the apartment sits near a 24-hour internet café/bar, and the noise continued throughout the night. Even with earplugs and white noise, we found it hard to sleep. The shower was also difficult to use, as the shower head is handheld with no wall mount, and the curtain didn't keep the water in, so the bathroom floor got quite wet. The beds were fine but not particularly comfortable. At checkout we needed to meet the host to hand back the keys. A self check-out option, or being able to leave the keys inside, would be much more convenient.

The location was great, just a 10–15 minute walk to the center of Chania. There are large parking spaces right near the house, so finding a spot isn't an issue if you rent a car. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The host was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and hospitable, even leaving us fruits and sweets upon arrival! The apartment was very clean, comfortable for a group of 5, and well-equipped with all essential amenities and products.

Nothing, everything was great! ❤️

Apartment location was ideal, just a short walk to 'old town' & the local beach, also quick access to roads for exploring the island by car. The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped, making for a very comfortable stay. Communication with the host was always a pleasure and their assistance greatly appreciated. Would recommend a stay at this property.
