Hippocampo Waterfront Villa

The arrival breakfast was lovely and welcoming. The hostess was always contactable and at hand to make your stay enjoyable Location was lovely, depending on what you are looking for. Nice and peaceful with beautiful surrounding sea views. It was a bit of a walk into the port, however the taxi service in the area is good. The port it self is well worth the visit with plenty of bars, restaurants, shops etc. There are a few places easy walking distance from the villa which serve good food and are very welcoming, worth visiting.

In the accommodation the steps to the upper sun terrace are quite steep for younger children and the elderly. The beach directly outside the villa is rocky, however there is access into the sea via the beach.

Loved the property. So clean and modern. Host was wonderful.

Sehr schönes Haus, unglaublich gemütlich ( Pool ist der Hammer) und sehr sauber! Hara ist eine unglaubliche Gastgeberin, es wurde an alles gedacht: von Spülmaschinen Tabs bis Olivenöl und Kaffee! Ein sehr schönes Gastgeschenk ( Obstkorb und Wein), Bettwäsche, Bademantel und sehr gute Betten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, vielen Dank für Alles und wir kommen gerne wieder 🫶☀️🌊

The villa is absolutely stunning, ideally located right by the sea. It offers breathtaking views from every window and features a perfectly equipped kitchen. We truly enjoyed our stay, even though we spent only three nights there and the weather was slightly rough during our visit. Chania’s city center is just a few minutes away by car, while the area itself remains tranquil and peaceful. Hara, our host, was very hospitable and kindly welcomed us late in the evening. We also greatly appreciated the delicious refreshments and thoughtful goodies prepared for us upon arrival.
