Very friendly and generous host, good space, outdoor eating if fine, easy to find, well equipped, lots of extras. The host recommended a classical recital in town, which was very enjoyable. Lots of Historic House properties within reach
Exceptionally generous in the kitchen and bathroom but might have had a few more toilet rolls and some washing powder.

Everything was clean and tidy and instructions were clear x
Loved the property just could not make the most of it as we were at a 2 day wedding event !
We would have liked to check out later maybe about 11am instead of 10am !

The house felt like home and had everything you needed. Sue was very helpful and left lovely little touches, valentines chocolates, flowers and pancakes. She also has a pantry cuboard with useful stock of essentials and homemade marmalade and jam. Left milk and tea coffee and hot chocolate. A good amount of towels and lovely shampoo, soap, shower gel and hand cream. Plenty of games and books and the house was a tardis the pictures do not do it justice, beautifully furnished with lots of art. Slept the 5 of us very comfortably with spare bed and had plenty of space, the living area was large, we didnt use the main living room as the garden living room with the heated floor was perfect. We came up for a family wedding so had visitors and cooked a sunday roast for 8 and could easily have had more of us. A very useful visitor guide with details of local eateries and places to visit which we took her advice and was pleased with everything we tried. As it had been so wet the waterfalls at low and high force were glorious however the most thrilling was visiting Gibsons cave waterfall as you could get behind this. The walks locally were also lovely and the town was full of lovely shops and eateries and everyone was so friendly will definitly want to come and stay again and explore further.
