Skipper's Lookout

Een gezellig huisje aanpalend aan de woning van de host. Op een steenworp van de zee in een klein dorpje. Het huisje is goed ingericht met een gezellige open keuken en zitkamer. Gezellige pub in de buurt waar je lekker kan eten. Goede uitvalsbasis om south Devon te verkennen. De host was bijzonder vriendelijk en beschikbaar en deed er alles aan om ons verblijf ze aangenaam mogelijk te maken.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, gute Tipps, nette Gespräche. Wunderschöne und ruhige Lage direkt am Meer. Super bequeme Betten. Perfekte Ausstattung.

V helpful host and lovely house

Tv wasn’t working and had hoped there’d be some tea bags/coffee/washing up liquid/extra loo roll in the cupboard just to enable guests to not have to bring absolutely everything .

The location was very good, and the house is well equipped and organized.

The house wasn't very clean, the toilet bin was full, the fridge was dirty, the sofas were absolutely dirty and the sink in the kitchen wasn't clean as well... Moreover, when we asked the hoster about toilet rolls and washing up liquid he refused to give us enough to our stay, because he wasn't obliged to - and he really wasn't, but providing this kind of thing seems quite basic and a kind gesture, and would cost him £1 or £2? Didn't make any sense to us. I'm quite sure that one of the bed linens weren't changed too. I definitely don't recommend the place for people with young kids, because the place isn't very clean. For adults I believe it's ok.
