Very thoughtful presentation with tit bits for guests
Lots of space & places to relax inside & out (if the weather had been favourable)
Extremely comfortable generally
A covered portico to protect from the incessant rain when unloading the car

The location of this house, and the house itself was spectacular. It is well located close to Portree while still feeling like it is in the middle of the countryside, accessible to restaurants, gas stations, coffee shops, and a grocery store while still waking up to a view of beautiful hillsides with deer and sheep, amazing sunsets, and crisp air. Wonderfully comfortable common area with a well stocked wood fire, the rooms were extremely comfortable, and outside sitting space was lovely. The hosts were kind, responsive, and thoughtful, surprising us with a bottle of wine, some local beer, snacks, milk, eggs, and fruit in the kitchen when we arrived to ensure our stay was comfortable!
No downsides to this place, truly.

We loved the views from the home, and it was well stocked with amenities. The fireplace was wonderful, and the bathrooms and beds were great. There’s nothing not to like at The Stag Moor House.
