We were simply blown away with how stunningly beautiful the cottage was - staying here is a must!

Everything!! This is by far the most stunning property we've stayed in the UK and for those looking for somewhere to stay in the Cotswolds, it's an absolute must. Before we arrived the communication from the owner was incredible - we had our own guest portal, which was full of really helpful information as well as photos of the accommodation (we knew from the photos the cottage was beautiful but frankly they didn't even do it justice). Upon arrival, it was super easy collecting the keys from the purfumery next door and someone was on hand to show us around - we even had a welcome package including scones with jam and cream which was such a nice extra touch. Every aspect of the accommodation was simply stunning and everything had been done to an incredibly high specification. The owner also contacted us whilst we were there to check that everything was ok and whether we needed anything - I said we loved it so much that we wanted to move in! Not only is the accommodation amazing, but the location is right in the heart of the village, which was fantastic. We were a few minutes walk from lots of pubs, restaurants and cafes. We ate in the local Italian restaurant and one of the local pubs and the food was fantastic. From start to finish we had a fantastic weekend and I would highly recommend the cottage - what a gem of a find it was!

Fabulous. What a beautiful historical cottage with luxurious touches in a perfect location.

Excellent location right in central Bourton-on-the-Water. The parking space was key. We could see the floating Christmas Tree from the window! Accommodated a family of four very comfortably. We loved the high tech lighting and the outside hot tub was delightful looking through the trees. The owner was easy to communicate with and very understanding. The information booklet was fascinating.

Exceptional property. Perfect location. Extremely comfortable stay

The only small thing I would have liked was a mirror above the dressing table so that I could dry my hair and /or apply make up with ease. Mirrors were shown on the pictures, but weren’t there during our stay

Brilliant stay in the Cotswolds

Property is immaculate! Very clean and cosy, high quality fittings and appliances. We stayed over Christmas and was wonderful the cottage had been decorated for Christmas with a tree in the sitting room. Great fireplace, which also added to the cottage’ charm. Location was great, in the heart of town - pubs and restaurants at our doorstep. Our host also checked in to ensure our stay was comfortable, which was appreciated.

Amazing stay

Great location right in the mist of the town. Can walk around to shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants. The cottage was high tech, top quality and provided everything to make the stay comfortable. The hot tub was amazing. Very clean, practically brand new feeling. Beds are very comfortable with great quality linen. Towels and robes were provided. I would definitely stay again.

Nothing I didn’t like about the property, but to mention that toiletries are not provided or slippers, so just to be prepared for what to bring with you.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage.

The property is ideally positioned in the centre of the village. It is finished to a very high standard with beautiful furnishings and linens. This all makes for a very comfortable stay. The hot tub is a welcome addition at the end of a day exploring this wonderful place.

Paradise xx a real treat.

This is an experience you must have. Not only are you in one of the most beautiful parts of the Cottwolds, you are in one of the best cottages. Location amazing and all we have to say 10 out of 10.

Beautiful Cottage - Central Location

This was the most beautiful property on our two week trip. We could have moved in and stayed longer! Everything was top notch! The owner met us upon arrival. He was very accommodating and definitely proud of his property. As well he should be! We were in the middle of the town and all attractions. We walked to dinner two night and cooked at the house one night. It is a beautiful house. I highly recommend it.

Fabulous cottage right in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water

The location of Perfumery Cottage couldn’t have been better. It has been beautifully renovated and stylishly furnished, with luxurious touches such as mood lighting everywhere and reclining dining chairs in the kitchen! It’s ideal for two couples, each with a king-sized bed and their own en-suite. Loved the little garden for drinks and breakfast outside. It had everything we needed for a very comfortable three night stay. The parking is tight for two large cars but we managed it, nose to tail. John is a friendly, experienced host and he kept in contact with us before and during our stay, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We would definitely book this cottage again.

Delightful

This is an exceptional property in every way. Located a block off the main street of Bourton-on-the-Water, you step into a haven that combines the charm of an historic cottage with every amenity the 21st century has to offer. Pictures don't do it justice. The attention to detail, the overall design and comfort is fantastic. The hot tub was a wonderful way to relax after busy days exploring the Cotswolds. We hope to come back!

Due to the historic nature of the property, all bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs and ceilings are low. Just something to be aware of, not a complaint.

Wonderful and relaxing

We had a wonderful stay at the Perfumery! Everything was clean and of great quality. The space was wonderful and comfortable with a great location to the town! We had an electric car and having our own EV charge station was a great addition. Great and new kitchen appliances to cook great meals at home. Overall would recommend this place to friends and family and will definitely try and get back here again!

Could not have asked for better.

The Property was lovely. Every attention to detail, right down to the electric tooth brush charges, hardwired into the bathroom tiles. The Electric BBQ was also superb.

I can not fault the accommodation really, but if I had to be picky. Some blinds at the front window of the lounge to accompany the curtains, would have been nice.
