We stayed at Pear Tree Cottage for three weeks in September. From the first day, we fell in love with the cottage, with its comfortable places to settle in on rainy days to the beautiful garden (unfortunately, not enjoyed a lot due to unfriendly weather). The beds were extremely comfortable and house guests loved the second floor "apartment." The kitchen was very well equipped, important when staying for three weeks, and were greeted by coffee, tea and milk. (Suggestion: instructions for appliances would help as we live in the U.S. and needed assistance operating the equipment.) We appreciated the wide range of reading material, local art work, antique furniture and fascinating ornaments, especially "pear" symbols everywhere. The location is terrific, a five-minute walk to the town center, and The Smiths restaurant, just round the corner, became a favorite. We did not have a car, fortunate as there was literally no parking on the street due to others' permanently occupying the space, but visitors faced a challenge. Overall this was one of our most successful stays in the Cotswolds.

We enjoyed Pear Tree cottage to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday. The cottage is well equipped, extremely cozy and loaded with character. Our favorite activity was visiting the farm shops and dining in the lush garden!

The Pear Tree Cottage was a very special place to stay in Bourton-On-The-Water. The cottage is one block away from the water and all of the village bridges, shops and restaurants. Our family enjoyed a two week stay and felt like locals. We felt so fortunate to have the Pear Tree as our home base. Highly recommended

My wife and I frequently come to Bourton on the Water and this cottage tops them all! Great location; beautiful private garden; plenty of room…bedrooms are spacious and well decorated. Dealing not only with Staycotswold, but also the owner and local manager was a breeze. Few cottages have everything you would want - spacious refrigerator/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher and even a garbage disposal! Television has wide range of channels including access to all major premium channels (just sign in to hour account). Wifi is VERY strong all over the house and garden. Fireplace was perfect and we used it every night. ONLY recommendations—-it is time for nee beds. The bed in the master is a double…and if you are a tall/big fella like me…it’s a tight squeeze for two…and it sinks in the middle. The twin beds on second floor are also a bit out of date…went for a nap one day and it was leaning to the side. Might also consider a small tele for the Master. But, overall—a fantastic stay…highly recommend the Cottage, the owner and StayCotswold!
