The street light makes it more difficult to park, very tight but that’s the council for you.

Would definitely recommend for a short stay.

Location is second to none. Lots of little touches which go a long way and make the property feel more like home. Clean and tidy.

Bedroom upstairs was pretty tight to get in and out of (though appreciate not a huge amount that can be done about this) Sofas weren't the cosy/comfiest.

Beautiful stay.

A beautiful little cottage, very close to the shops and restaurants of Bourton. It had everything that you needed for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Spotlessly clean. The owners were so helpful. Everything was brilliant.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Lavender Lodge. Excellent location. The main street and river were at the end of the road. Clean, well equipped cottage with lots of attention to detail. And added extras , hairdryer, straighteners , and iron. Brilliant communicative hosts , who kept me well informed and were quick to answer queries I had 😊

Couldn’t be better, excellent in every aspect

Great location, lovely pretty comfy cottage, near local restaurants, pubs and picturesque village. Hosts were so helpful and looked after us really well. Excellent communications from hosts. Wanted to spend much longer there. We will definitely be back

Great cottage in a great location

The location was just off the main town centre but really quiet and peaceful. The house, furnishings and garden were lovely. Decorated to a high standard.

I wish there had been a floor mop and bucket to use as the hard floor areas needed a really good scrub.

Lovely stay in quiet surroundings, Ali and Gez are great hosts.

The location was perfect! Only about a 3 minute walk to the river and the Main Street. Fantastic outdoor space, was lovely sitting in the garden listening to the birds. A great little oasis of calm quiet tranquility. Well equipped kitchen. Spotlessly clean. Lovely little welcome pack and also fresh milk in the fridge.

Mattresses upstairs were a little firm for me personally but perfectly serviceable.

Family get away.

Lavender Lodge is beautifully presented and on a quiet road just a few minutes walk from the centre of Bourton on the Water. It has everything that you need for a few days away, including a welcome hamper, which we enjoyed. A thoughtful touch. As it was busy in the town, we bought lunch and ate it in the cosy courtyard garden at the house. It was a lot more relaxed than a busy cafe and cheaper too. We had a lovely meal at The Rose Tree restaurant along the river. Very friendly and good food. The dog was made welcome, too. We thoroughly recommend Lavender Lodge as a relaxing place to stay. Ali and Gez were prompt at answering any questions we had, and there was good communication between us before and during our stay.

The only thing we personally didn't like was that the upstairs bed was too hard for our liking , but that is just our personal preference and no reflection on the bed itself.

Location is great. Parking a must in Bourton. Amazing hosts. Cannot begin to describe how engaging they are compared with most. The cottage is wonderful. Had such an amazing time thanks!

Comfortable and well furnished.

This is a great little place to stay. Everything is as shown and no surprises. You can see in the photos the drive is small and communication from the property re-enforces that. We had tow cars and parked one on the drive and the second at the town car parks which are an easy walk. Bed was super comfortable and linen very nice too. Everything is close to hand and the cottage is very comfortable.

Lovely cottage in an amazing location in central Bourton-on-the-Water

Lovely little cottage in an amazing location in central Bourton-on-the-Water. Very comfy big beds and all modern conveniences. Off street parking is very handy. Perfect location for us and our dog to explore Bourton. All the shops and pubs etc allowed dogs in which was fantastic. You can do a lovely walk to Lower Slaughter and Upper Slaughter from the house also. The owners have a big manual with all the advice and tips, and a lovely welcome gift waiting when you arrive. Wish we could have stayed for longer and would definitely return to Lavender lodge again when we can!

No shoes policy was a bit tricky when coming in and out of the garden as the only door out is through the beige carpeted master bedroom. Having a big inside door mat and place to take on/off shoes, or wooden flooring in that room would be easier.

A lovely presented cottage in a equally lovely location.

The cottage is presented well, environmentally friendly and smells lovely.

We travelled with a dog, I was very concerned about getting the carpet dirty. To get to the back garden this is through the ground floor bedroom.

The most idyllic house in a fabulous location!

Everything. The location was brilliant; a 2 minute stroll to the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water! The cottage was beautiful & decorated so lovely. Very cute & quirky, and love the touches of lavender here, there & everywhere. Ali & Gez (the owners) were very attentive and messaged us prior to check-in to keep us updated on when the property would be ready. They also messaged us during our stay to ask how the house was and if we needed anything.

Excellent property! Won’t be disappointed.

The property was stunning and impeccably clean. They provided everything from a welcome hamper to snacks, bread, and milk. The bed was both comfortable and spotless. The availability of straighteners was a nice touch since mine didn’t work, and they even included hairspray, shampoo, and other essentials. Decor was tastefully done. Walking distance from the lovely main river, shops and restaurants. Very quiet too. A lot of thought with guests in mind has gone into this property.

Well equipped, great location.

Great to have a washing machine but with no dryer we struggled to get things dry. Maybe a retractable clothes hanger in the court yard? Car park is the tightest we have ever seen our SUV only had millimetres to spare.

Lavender Lodge is situated in a peaceful location but only a few minutes walk to the centre of Bourton. The property is well equipped and has everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Wonderfully clean and cosy with great attention to detail and lots of lovely touches including a welcome hamper. Ali and Gez kept us well informed both before and during our stay and we would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Wonderfully relaxing in luxurious accommodation.

The location was perfect with an easy walk into the village with all facilities close at hand. We were lucky with the weather as it was great to sit out in the courtyard after arriving with a lovely cup of tea and a piece of cake, soaking up the sun. The pint of milk in the fridge with coffee and tea in the welcome pack was much appreciated.

Would be difficult to find something, but maybe a hand towel in the kitchen would be a useful addition. Everything else had been thought of. Loved the face masks provided in the welcome pack. A lovely touch.

The most perfect Cotswold stay.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. Everything was well thought and the property had literally everything you needed. The host was so friendly and very professional. I stayed with my partner and 2 year old son. We felt very comfortable and we all had such good nights sleep, . The property couldn’t have been in a better location. Only a 2 minute walk from the main little town and river. We are already looking to come back again.
