The shallow River Windrush flows through the village centre, spanned by low arched bridges and flanked by village greens and golden Cotswold stone buildings housing a variety of eateries. From the cottage, you can walk to numerous attractions, including Birdland, Cotswold Motoring and Toy Museum, The Model Village, The Dragonfly Maze, Greystones Farm Nature Reserve, and Hawkstone Brewery. Waymarked walking routes passing through the village include the Windrush Way, Oxfordshire Way, Diamond Way, Heart of England Way and Monarch’s Way. You can also visit characterful Cotswold villages such as Upper and Lower Slaughter (2 miles) and Stow-on-the-Wold (5 miles).


Inside, the characterful lounge invites you to unwind beside a cosy inglenook fireplace with a Clearview wood burner. Settle in for film nights on the Smart TV with DVD, stretching out on the two and three-seater leather sofas after a day exploring the village trails.
