This massive 3 generation family home is an excellent choice if you are group of friends travelling with families. You can easily drive all of lake District from here and also Windermere lake is close by. You can take up walk to Orrest Head with your little ones. We loved the fact that host was very thoughtful they had many toys, boardgames which kept our kids occupied all the time. Room sizes are generous, 3 bathrooms + 1 WC was very convenient. Overall we had a very memorable time here and I highly recommend this.
Beds could have been larger I had thought they were king-size but actually felt like queen size all the rooms

Very light, airy and spacious for a 3 generation family stay. The view from the lounge was fantastic.
Little touches like the blackout cover used in a toddlers room was appreciated
