The location is terrific. The apartment is newly renovated and well-appointed. I had a hard time knowing if the one bed was a sofa-bed, but it is not: it is a very comfortable queen size bed in its own room. The other bed (with a bunk bed above it) is an entirely separate room.
The apartment does not have central air conditioning. I think this almost never matters in Riga, but it was abnormally hot when we visited (in the 80s), and that made it stuffy when we first arrived. However, when I texted management, they immediately brought me a portable air conditioner and fan, which helped a lot.

Der mangler ventilation i soverum - vinduer kan ånes, men med det resultat der kommer meget larm fra gaden og det andet er ud til atrum hvor luften står stille.

Prachtig en heel ruim appartement op toplocatie aan de rand van het oude centrum. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Mooi ingericht met aandacht voor details. Fijne bank, grote eettafel, goed uitgeruste keuken (met zelfs een citruspers en staafmixer). Enorme badkamer met heerlijk bad. Bij aankomst stonden water en fruit klaar. En nog nooit meegemaakt: verse bloemen in een van de slaapkamers. Makkelijk en snel contact met de aardige verhuurder. Op twee minuten lopen van de bushalte van bus 22, die rechtstreeks naar het vliegveld gaat.
De verwarming is centraal geregeld. Je kunt de temperatuur dus niet zelf aanpassen. In één van de twee slaapkamers staat een relatief smal bed voor twee personen. Die slaapkamer is aan de straatkant. Als je met het raam open slaapt, hoor je ‘s avonds wel wat straatgeluiden.
